This is a mounting kit, not a doorbell. The Ring V3 Corner Kit is for battery Video Doorbells in the 3 / 3 Plus / 4 family and later Battery Doorbell models. It fits between the doorbell and the wall and swivels the whole unit horizontally, which matters when the only available mounting spot is a corner, a narrow return wall, or a recessed porch. Without it the camera tends to watch a brick wall or the road; with it the lens and the passive motion sensors line up with the path visitors walk. Turning the doorbell away from adjacent walls also cuts the infrared bounce-back that washes out night footage. Brackets are paintable so the finish can be matched to trim.
