This is a solar charging accessory, not a camera. The Ring Solar Panel (USB-C) is the larger of Ring's two USB-C panels, rated at 4W, and it is the right choice for cameras that record a lot or sit in partial shade. Mount it on a wall, fence, eave or gutter line where it catches sun, run the 6.5 ft USB-C lead to the camera, and the battery stays topped up instead of coming down for a recharge every few weeks. That matters most on hard-to-reach installs - high eaves, barns, driveways, gate posts - where a ladder trip is the real cost. An adjustable base lets you tilt the panel toward the sun, and an included adapter keeps it working with older Ring cameras that use a barrel plug.
