The Ring Smart Lighting A19 Bulb is a standard-shape LED smart bulb that joins the Ring ecosystem, so lighting and security behave as one system. Screw it into any E26 fixture and it can be dimmed and scheduled from the Ring app, switched by voice through a compatible Alexa device, or triggered automatically when a Ring camera, doorbell or motion sensor detects activity — lights on at the porch the instant someone walks up the path.
Output is up to 800 lumens, roughly a 60W incandescent replacement, at a 3500K neutral white that reads clean rather than yellow. Rated life is about 25,000 hours. It works indoors and in covered outdoor fixtures, but should not be exposed directly to water, and it is not intended for use with conventional wall dimmers — dimming is done in the app. Control requires a Ring Bridge or another compatible Amazon Sidewalk hub unless your location already has Sidewalk coverage.
