This is a mounting kit, not a doorbell. The Ring Pro Wedge Kit adjusts a Video Doorbell Pro (Wired Doorbell Plus) on the vertical axis. Two situations call for it: the mounting surface is not flat - lap siding, brick ledges, angled door casing - and the doorbell needs to sit flush; or the door is raised above the yard and the camera ends up looking over visitors' heads. Three stackable brackets let you set a 5, 10 or 15 degree downward or forward tilt, which keeps faces and the walkway inside the frame and makes motion alerts far more reliable. The brackets are paintable, so the finished install can be matched to existing trim.
