The Ring Pro Retrofit Kit is an installation bracket, not a doorbell. It is what you reach for when swapping an original Ring Video Doorbell for a Ring Wired Doorbell Plus (previously sold as the Video Doorbell Pro): the replacement mounting plate covers the screw holes and outline left behind by the older, larger device so the finished job looks like the new doorbell was always there.
For dealers this is a small part that saves a big callback — no filling, sanding or repainting the door casing on an upgrade. The bracket is supplied in black and is paintable, so it can be finished to match trim colour when the surrounding surface will not be hidden. It replaces the standard bracket rather than stacking on top of it, keeping the doorbell tight to the wall. Doorbell, chime and wiring accessories are sold separately.
