The kit's stackable brackets rotate the doorbell horizontally in stages up to a total of 45 degrees, pointing the lens and the motion sensors at the walkway visitors actually use. Angling the unit away from an adjacent wall also stops infrared light bouncing back at night, which is a common cause of washed-out night video.
