The Ring Power Pack is an external backup battery built specifically for the Ring Alarm Pro Base Station and the eero 6 Extender (Wi-Fi 6 models). The Alarm Pro already has an internal battery, but a Power Pack extends runtime well past it — useful anywhere storms, wildfire shutoffs or rural supply make multi-hour outages normal. Because the Alarm Pro is also the house router, keeping it alive keeps the whole Wi-Fi network and any connected Ring devices online.
Each pack supplies roughly eight hours of backup, and up to four can be chained for about 24 hours of protection, with actual runtime varying by device settings and load. The flat 6.63 in. square housing is designed to stack under the Alarm Pro or the extender so the finished install stays tidy, and remaining charge is reported in the Ring app. This is an accessory — the base station or extender is sold separately.
