This is a mounting and power accessory for a floodlight camera you already own; no camera is included. Ring's Plug-In Mount — sold at retail as the Plug-In Conversion Kit — lets a hardwired Floodlight Cam run from an ordinary outlet instead of a junction box. That opens up locations with no existing fixture box and no electrician: a garage wall near an outdoor receptacle, a covered patio, a shed, a workshop or a rental where new wiring is not an option.
The kit ships with a 20 ft (6.1 m) power cord, a wiring adapter, a wall mounting plate, a screwdriver, screw caps, wire nuts, an S-hook and mounting screws, so the whole conversion is a single-box job. It is compatible with the Floodlight Cam Wired Plus, Floodlight Cam Wired Pro and Floodlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen), and comes in white to match the camera housing.
