This is a power-conversion and mounting kit for a camera you already own — no camera is included. The Ring Hardwired Kit (also sold as the Spotlight Cam Hardwired Converter Kit) takes a Ring Spotlight Cam Wired off its outdoor extension cord and connects it to the low-voltage wiring already inside the wall or ceiling. For dealers and electricians that means a permanent, tidy install with no cord run down the siding and no exposed outdoor receptacle.
The kit supplies three junction box cover plates — round, horizontal rectangular and vertical rectangular — so it adapts to whatever box is already in the wall. Also included are mounting gaskets, wall screws and anchors, a pogo pin conversion collar that converts the camera's power connection, a hanging hook that holds the camera while you make up the wiring, cover plate screws and a sticker. Wiring should be done by a qualified installer to local electrical code. Available in black to match the camera finish.
