The slim body suits narrow window sashes and door casings, and it fixes with adhesive so there is no drilling. The included CR2032 coin cells last up to three years in typical use, and the Z-Wave link reaches roughly 250 ft. line of sight back to the base station. A Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro Security Kit is required — these sensors do not work on their own.
