The Ring Alarm Open Window Magnet is a small accessory that solves a common annoyance: you want the window open a few inches for ventilation, but the alarm is armed and the contact sensor reads that as an intrusion. The magnet mounts a second magnetic pickup point on the sash so the paired Ring Alarm Contact Sensor still registers the window as secure at that partially open position — and still trips if someone pushes it further.
It sticks on with adhesive in a couple of minutes, needs no batteries or wiring, and is finished in white to disappear against typical window trim. It is an accessory only: you need an existing Ring Alarm Contact Sensor and a Ring Alarm or Ring Alarm Pro base station for it to do anything.
