The Ring Access Controller Pro 2 is an access control device, not a camera or a light. It wires into an existing electrically operated gate or door controller and puts that gate under Ring app control, so a homeowner, property manager or HOA can open it from a phone, grant access to family, guests, contractors or cleaners, and see a record of who came through. It also supports Amazon Key In-Gate Delivery, letting couriers drop parcels inside a gated property instead of leaving them at the curb.
For installers it is flexible: it interfaces through Wiegand or a normally-open dry contact relay rated 32V / 2A, and runs on USB 5VDC or a 10-24V AC/DC terminal feed. Connectivity is wired Ethernet with an onboard eSIM providing LTE CAT-M1 cellular fallback, so the gate keeps working when the site network drops. Pair it with a Ring doorbell or camera at the gate to see who is asking before releasing the latch. It is not weather rated, so mount it in an enclosure or the operator cabinet. Professional installation is recommended.
