The QSC IT-42 is a dual-output isolation transformer module accessory, not a standalone amplifier. It is designed to be installed in a compatible QSC CX-series amplifier (such as the CX302) to add fully isolated 70V/100V distributed-line outputs to what is otherwise a low-impedance amplifier. This lets integrators use a single amplifier for constant-voltage loudspeaker systems in commercial and installed applications such as paging, background music, and 70V zone systems. Because the IT-42 is an internal transformer accessory, it must be paired with the appropriate host amplifier and has no audio performance rating of its own beyond the transformation it provides.
