The QSC unHX2D (Attero Tech) is a Dante/AES67-enabled HDMI audio de-embedder/embedder that bridges two-channel PCM HDMI audio to and from a Dante network. It lets integrators pull embedded audio out of an HDMI source, place it on the network, and re-embed network audio back into an HDMI stream for downstream displays.
Key Features
- Extracts 2-channel PCM audio from HDMI to Dante
- Re-embeds Dante audio back into HDMI output
- HDMI output acts as a pass-through repeater
- Line-level analog inputs and outputs that also route to Dante
- Adjustable delay buffer for lip-sync correction; EDID management
With flexible routing between HDMI, analog and network audio plus installer-adjustable EDID, the unHX2D is a useful bridge in conferencing and presentation systems that combine video sources with a networked audio backbone.
