Sub Mini adds genuine low-frequency reach to rooms that have no space for a full-size subwoofer. The cylindrical cabinet measures about 12 inches tall by 9 inches across, which lets it sit beside a console, behind a chair, or in a corner without drawing attention - and the matte black finish helps it recede further in a darker room or a dedicated viewing space.
Inside, two 6-inch woofers face each other and move in opposition, canceling the mechanical forces that cause a small sealed cabinet to buzz or rattle. Each woofer runs on its own Class-D amplifier. The audible result is tight, controlled bass rather than the one-note boom typical of compact subs, and the cabinet stays quiet enough to place directly on a shelf or hardwood floor.
The bigger gain is often to the speaker it partners with. Handing the low end to Sub Mini frees a Beam, Ray, or Era 100 from bass duty, and midrange and dialogue clarity improve as a result.
