This is the black version of the Sonos Power Cable I in the standard 6 ft (2 m) length. It is the same AC cord Sonos supplies with its black products, so it disappears against a black soundbar, Sub or Amp instead of drawing the eye the way a white cable does in a dark media room.
Sonos lists the cable as compatible with Arc Ultra, Arc, Amp, Beam, Ray, Five, Sub 4, Sub (Gen 3), Sub Mini, Playbase and Play:5 (Gen 2). That makes it a practical stock item for integrators: one part number covers replacement cords for soundbars, subwoofers and amplifiers across a whole house. It is equally useful as a color correction - buyers who ordered a black speaker but ended up with a white cable in the box can simply swap it.
Two other lengths are available in the same family, a 19.7 in (0.5 m) short cable for rack and cabinet installs and an 11.5 ft (3.5 m) long cable when the nearest outlet is across the room. Order one cable per component.
