This is the short, black Sonos Power Cable I - 19.7 in (0.5 m) of cord for situations where the standard cable leaves a loop that has to be hidden. In an equipment rack, a black cable of the right length is the difference between a clean rear panel and a bundle of coiled slack, and it is the natural companion to a rack-mounted Sonos Amp or Amp Multi feeding a power distribution strip.
It is also useful outside the rack: a Beam or Ray on a shelf just above a receptacle, or a Sub Mini in a corner with power close at hand. Sonos publishes compatibility with Arc Ultra, Arc, Amp, Beam, Ray, Five, Sub 4, Sub (Gen 3), Sub Mini, Playbase and Play:5 (Gen 2).
Because it is the manufacturer's own part, the connector and jacket match the equipment instead of approximating it. The same short cable is offered in white, and 6 ft and 11.5 ft lengths cover longer runs.
