A short adapter, not a cable run and not a speaker. It plugs into the USB-C port on a compatible Sonos speaker and presents a 3.5 mm analog input, which is how you get a turntable preamp, a CD player, a keyboard, a laptop headphone output or a conference room source into the Sonos system. Sonos lists it as compatible with Era 100, Era 100 SL, Era 300, Sonos Play and Move 2. Once connected, the line-in source appears in the Sonos app and can be grouped out to other rooms, so a single analog device can feed the whole system rather than just the speaker it is plugged into. The adapter is 3.94 in long and weighs 0.21 oz, small enough to sit behind a speaker without strain on the port. Note that the 3.5 mm auxiliary cable itself is not supplied. Finished in white to match the white Era speakers.
