This is a mounting accessory for the Sonos Beam soundbar - the Beam is sold separately. Sonos designed the bracket around Beam's exact cabinet, so the bar sits flat and tight to the wall under a television with a low, near-invisible profile that universal soundbar brackets rarely match.

There is an acoustic reason to mount rather than shelve. A soundbar sitting on a media console can couple with the furniture and produce audible rattle on bass-heavy content, and a console surface also puts the bar at whatever height the furniture dictates. A rigid wall mount removes the rattle path and lets you set the bar at a consistent height directly below the screen, so dialogue arrives from the picture.

The black finish is matched to the black Beam, and the hardware needed for a standard drywall-and-stud installation is supplied. Before drilling, confirm your TV's mounting height and leave room behind and below the bar for the HDMI eARC cable and power lead.
