The QSC SFP-MM-1G is a 1 Gigabit multimode fiber SFP (small form-factor pluggable) transceiver module used to add optical fiber links to Q-SYS networked audio and control systems. It plugs into an SFP cage on compatible Q-SYS Cores, network switches and networked peripherals, letting installers run fiber instead of copper where longer cable runs, electrical isolation, or immunity to interference is required. The multimode variant is intended for the shorter-to-medium reach fiber runs typical inside a building or campus.
