This is the PoE version of Ring's third-generation Wired Doorbell Pro, built for installers who would rather run one Ethernet cable than fight a marginal Wi-Fi signal or an undersized doorbell transformer. A 2880 x 2880 Retinal 4K sensor shoots a 1:1 frame at 140° horizontal by 140° vertical, capturing a caller head to toe together with the doorstep, and up to 10x Enhanced Zoom pulls in faces, packages and plates without collapsing into mush. Low-Light Sight with adaptive night vision holds true colour as light drops. 3D Motion Detection with customisable zones keeps notifications on people who really approach the door, and an offline video buffer means short network interruptions do not create gaps in the record. Power comes from the included Ring PoE+ adapter on an 802.3at switch, with a 10 ft USB-C run to an indoor location; standard 16-24 VAC doorbell power and a plug-in adapter are also supported, and the unit falls back to Wi-Fi 6 if Ethernet is unavailable. A Chime Kit Mini is included.
