It records 1080p HD video across a 155° horizontal by 90° vertical view, with infrared night vision after dark and two-way talk so you can answer the door from anywhere. Motion alerts land on your phone, tablet or Alexa device, and customisable motion zones let you ignore a busy pavement. Because it draws power from an existing doorbell circuit there is no battery to charge or swap - a real advantage on doors you would rather not revisit. Note that this model does not ring a mechanical indoor chime on its own: it needs a Ring Chime or an Alexa device for an indoor alert, so plan the install accordingly. Measuring under four inches tall in a black finish, it disappears against most door frames.
