The QSC AD-MR6 is an installation accessory, not a loudspeaker. It is a flanged mud-ring (rough-in) bracket used to pre-install QSC AcousticDesign ceiling loudspeakers -- compatible with AD-C4T-LP and AD-C6T models -- into drywall or plaster ceilings. Fitted during construction, it lets the drywall be finished flush around the opening so the ceiling speaker can be added later with a clean cutout and no cutting into the finished ceiling. It is typically sold in a set of six rings.
