The QSC AD-MR4 is an installation accessory, not a loudspeaker. It is a flanged mud-ring (rough-in) bracket used to pre-install QSC AcousticDesign AD-C4T ceiling loudspeakers into drywall or plaster ceilings. Installers mount the ring during construction so the drywall can be finished flush around it, allowing the ceiling speaker to be added cleanly later without cutting into the completed ceiling. It is typically sold in a set of six rings.
