The Lutron STCL-153MH-WH brings the Sunnata touch dimmer experience to everyday retrofit projects. Because it needs no neutral wire, it drops into older homes and standard switch boxes where many smart and touch dimmers cannot go. A light touch anywhere along the vertical strip sets the lights to that exact level, while the LED bar shows the current brightness. It handles up to 150 W of dimmable LED or CFL lighting, or up to 600 W of incandescent and halogen, and Lutron's LED+ circuitry is designed to reduce flicker and dropout with a broad range of dimmable bulbs. Install it single-pole, keep an existing mechanical switch for a 3-way circuit, or add ST-AS accessory switches for up to ten locations. This version ships in retail clamshell packaging. The White gloss finish coordinates with Claro and stainless wallplates, sold separately.

Compatibility
Multi-location setups use either one existing mechanical 3-way switch or the Sunnata ST-AS accessory switch (up to nine). It is not compatible with the ST-RD companion dimmer, ST-RS companion switch, Maestro accessory dimmers or Maestro accessory switches, and it is not for use with mechanical 4-way switches.
