The Lutron ST-AS-BL is a wired accessory switch for multi-location installs of the Sunnata STCL-153M LED+ touch dimmer. It does not control a load by itself; instead it connects to the main dimmer through the blue traveler terminal and sends on/off commands, while dimming is adjusted at the STCL-153M. Because it shares the Sunnata touch styling, every location in a 3-way or 4-way run looks consistent. Up to nine accessory switches can be connected to one STCL-153M for a total of ten control points, with the combined blue-wire run limited to 150 feet. Like the dimmer it serves, the system does not need a neutral, which makes it a practical upgrade for older homes. Make sure the main dimmer is the newer STCL-153M (or clamshell STCL-153MH): the earlier STCL-153P is not compatible with this accessory.
