The Lutron ST-6ANS-SR is the on/off switch in the Sunnata touch family. Instead of a toggle or rocker, the face is a smooth touch surface with a soft LED indicator, so it matches Sunnata dimmers and fan controls side by side in the same wallplate. It handles up to 6 A of lighting, including LED, CFL, incandescent, halogen, MLV, ELV and fluorescent loads, or a 1/10 HP (3 A) motor such as an exhaust fan, and it can drive up to three power boosters or load interfaces for larger circuits. Because it is an electronic switch, a neutral connection is required. For 3-way and multi-location runs, pair it with up to four ST-RS companion switches for five locations total; standard mechanical switches are not compatible. A front-accessible service switch lets you cut power to the load for lamp replacement without going to the panel, and power-failure memory restores the previous state.

Ideal Applications

Compatibility
Single-pole or multi-location with ST-RS companion switches only (max 4). Requires a neutral and a wallbox at least 2.25 in deep. Gang derating applies: lighting capacity drops to 4 A when ganged. Not for controlling receptacles.
