The Lutron PD-15OUT-BL brings Caseta control to outdoor plug-in loads. It plugs into a GFCI-protected outdoor receptacle and switches whatever is connected to it - patio string lights, landscape lighting transformers, holiday displays, fountains or pond pumps. The sealed housing carries an IP65 rating, so it holds up to rain, sprinklers, hoses, dust and snow, and it is rated for operation from -4 °F to 122 °F.
Used on its own, the plug can be paired with up to 10 Pico remotes and 10 Caseta motion sensors, and it has an on-board button for local control. Pair it to a Caseta Smart Hub or Smart Hub PRO to add schedules, scenes, away mode, remote access and voice-assistant control through the Lutron app. It switches any 15A lighting load, motors up to 1/2 HP, or magnetic low-voltage transformers up to 1200VA. This is a switching device and will not dim.
