The Lutron PD-10NXD-BL is the heavy-duty member of the Caseta Original family, built for rooms with more lighting than a standard Caseta dimmer can carry. It handles up to 250W of dimmable LED or 1000W of incandescent/halogen when installed by itself, and it also supports magnetic low-voltage transformers, Lutron Hi-lume 1% two-wire LED drivers and dimmable fluorescent ballasts.
A neutral connection is optional for LED and incandescent loads, which simplifies retrofits in older homes, but is required when controlling MLV, LED drivers, ballasts or power modules. The dimmer can be wired single-pole, in a 3-way with an existing mechanical switch, or for multi-location control using Pico remotes. It works on its own with paired Picos and sensors, or joins a Caseta Smart Hub or Smart Hub PRO for app control, schedules and voice. Ratings derate when ganged.

Compatibility
Pairs with Caseta Smart Hub, Smart Hub PRO, Pico remotes and Caseta motion sensors. Accepts Lutron Claro or other designer-style wallplates (sold separately). Not rated for ELV loads. Requires a single-gang US wallbox; 3.5 in deep box recommended.
