The Lutron MACL-L3T251-MN Maestro LED+ dual control pairs a dimmer with a countdown timer in a single-gang device, ideal where a fan or light should shut itself off. The dimmer section controls up to 75W of dimmable LED or CFL, or 300W of incandescent or halogen. The timer section switches a 2.5A light or fan load and counts down from 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or can be set to stay on with no time limit. A column of indicator lights shows the remaining time, and the bottom light flashes during the final minute; an optional load-flash warning can also be enabled. A double tap runs the load without a timeout. No neutral wire is required, so it drops into older homes and bathrooms where a vanity light and exhaust fan share one box. Installers can adjust dimmer trim, fade rates, a protected preset and timer behavior through Advanced Programming Mode. The dimmer remembers its last state after a power interruption.
