The Lutron DVTV-AL is the low-voltage member of the Diva 0-10V family. It runs entirely on a 24V Class 2 circuit: one pair of wires sends the 0-10V dimming signal to the fixtures, and a second low-voltage output drives the relay in a separate power pack that actually switches the line-voltage lighting. Because nothing at the wallbox carries line voltage, the control is a good fit where Class 2 wiring is preferred, where the switched load is larger than a line-voltage dimmer can handle, or where 347V lighting circuits are in use. The 0-10V output can sink up to 30mA, supporting as many as 15 drivers or ballasts that draw 2mA or less. Users get the familiar Diva paddle for on/off and a slider for level, with power-failure memory and installer-adjustable high-end and low-end trim. This is a component of a system, not a standalone switch: order the DVTV-AL together with a compatible Lutron power pack. Finish: Almond gloss.
Key Features
- All-low-voltage Class 2 wallbox wiring
- Pairs with Lutron PP-DV (120-277V) or PP-347H (347V) power packs
- 30mA sink capacity
- Trim adjustment for smooth low-end dimming
- Power-failure memory
- Standard designer-style opening
Ideal Applications
Commercial offices, schools, retail and multi-family projects using 0-10V LED fixtures, especially larger loads, 347V circuits or jobs specified for Class 2 control wiring.
Compatibility
Requires a power pack/relay; Lutron documents the PP-DV for 120-277V loads and PP-347H for 347V. Works with 0-10V LED drivers and electronic ballasts that source current per IEC 60929 Annex E.2. Lutron recommends shielded cable for long or noisy runs. 3-way control uses a low-voltage SPDT switch rated for dry contacts (by others). Not for direct connection to line voltage.
