The Lutron DVSTV-IV is a Diva 0-10V dimmer built for commercial and residential fixtures that use 0-10V LED drivers or electronic fluorescent ballasts. Unlike low-voltage-only 0-10V controls, this model has an internal line-voltage switching relay, so it turns the lighting circuit on and off itself and handles up to 8A at 120 to 277V without a separate power pack. The low-voltage purple/gray pair carries the dimming signal and can sink up to 50mA, enough for as many as 25 drivers or ballasts that each draw no more than 2mA. Operation is familiar Diva style: a large paddle switches the lights while a side slider sets the level, and the last level is remembered after a power outage. High-end and low-end trim let installers match the dimming range to the connected fixtures. For 3-way applications the DVSTV-IV pairs with a standard mechanical 3-way switch. The Ivory gloss finish fits any designer-style opening.
Key Features
- Built-in relay switches up to 8A of 0-10V lighting
- 120-277V operation for offices, schools and commercial spaces
- 50mA sink capacity for multiple drivers on one control
- High-end/low-end trim to tune the dimming range
- Power-failure memory
- No derating when ganged
Ideal Applications
Offices, classrooms, conference rooms, retail, healthcare corridors and homes with 0-10V LED fixtures such as troffers, linear pendants and downlights.
Compatibility
Works with 0-10V LED drivers and electronic ballasts that source current per IEC 60929 Annex E.2. 3-way operation requires a mechanical 3-way switch at the other location (only one 0-10V control per circuit). Lutron's wiring diagrams show a neutral connection, so plan for a neutral in the wallbox. For loads above 8A or 347V circuits, use the low-voltage DVTV with a Lutron power pack instead. Wallplate sold separately (Claro or other designer-style plate).
