The Lutron DVRF-AS-GR is the Claro Smart Accessory Switch, a hard-wired companion for Caseta Diva and Claro smart controls, finished in Gray. It is not a standalone switch: it carries no load itself and simply relays taps over the traveler wire to the main control, which does the actual switching or dimming.
Install it at the other end of a hallway or stairwell to replace a mechanical 3-way or 4-way switch while keeping a wired, battery-free control at every location. One main control can accept up to ten accessory switches, with up to 150 feet of traveler wire between the main unit and the farthest accessory. The paddle matches the Claro styling of the main control for a consistent look across the room. Because it is wired rather than battery powered, there is nothing to recharge or replace.
