Crestron USB-EXT-DM-Remote
USB over DigitalMedia Extender (Remote Module)
The USB-EXT-DM-Remote is a remote extension module that carries USB 2.0 signals across a Crestron DigitalMedia infrastructure. It transports USB either over the DM 8G+ link or over Ethernet under control-system management, letting peripherals connect back to a host through the same cabling backbone that distributes AV throughout a facility.
This capability enables KVM-style operation across DM systems, so a single computer can serve keyboards, mice, cameras, and other USB devices located in remote rooms or racks. Managed by the Crestron control system, the module integrates cleanly into larger DigitalMedia deployments where centralized sources and dispersed peripherals must work together.
