Crestron USB EXT-2 Remote
USB Extender (Receiver)
The USB EXT-2 Remote is the receiver half of Crestron's second-generation USB extension system, positioned at the peripheral end of a link. Paired with a USB-EXT 2 Local transmitter, it carries USB signals over standard CAT-type cabling to place keyboards, cameras, touch devices, and other peripherals well beyond the reach of a direct USB connection.
Supporting USB 1.1 and 2.0 devices, the extender lets a host computer or control system communicate reliably with equipment installed in a separate rack, credenza, or room. This makes it a practical building block for KVM-style layouts and AV systems where the source and its peripherals must be physically separated over distance.
