Fiber SFP Transceiver Module
The Crestron SFP-1G-LX is a 1 Gigabit Ethernet SFP transceiver module for long-wavelength single-mode fiber connections. Operating at 1310 nm, the LX-type optic supports extended runs, reaching approximately 10 kilometers over single-mode fiber for links between buildings or across large facilities.
The module plugs into the SFP cage of compatible Crestron equipment, such as the SFP port on DM NVX network AV endpoints, providing a fiber uplink where copper distance limits or electrical isolation requirements apply. It offers a clean, standards-based way to extend high-bandwidth AV-over-IP and network traffic over long optical runs.
