HDMI over CATx Transmitter (DM Lite)
The Crestron HD-TXC-101-C-E is a wall-plate transmitter that carries a single HDMI source over standard shielded twisted-pair cabling using Crestron's DM Lite signaling. Installed at the presenter or source location, it accepts an HDMI input that is also compatible with DVI and DisplayPort feeds through adapters, then delivers the signal down a run of CAT5e or CAT6 cable to a matching DM Lite receiver at the display.
Along with high-resolution video, the transmitter passes bidirectional RS-232 and IR control over the same link, letting a control system reach source and display equipment at either end of the extension. It supports resolutions up to 4K and is compliant with HDCP 2.2, making it suitable for protected content in classrooms, huddle spaces, and conference rooms where the source and screen sit apart.
