Crestron GLS-OIR-C-CN
Occupancy Sensor
The GLS-OIR-C-CN is a ceiling-mounted passive infrared (PIR) occupancy sensor in the Crestron GreenLight family, detecting the heat signature of movement to determine whether a space is occupied. PIR sensing offers clean, well-defined coverage and is a proven approach for offices, corridors, and other rooms with clear lines of sight to occupants.
The sensor operates over Cresnet, which supplies its low-voltage power and carries occupancy data back to a Crestron control system. Integrated into an automation program, it lets lighting and other loads respond automatically to presence, enabling energy-conscious control that switches lights on when a room is entered and off once it has been vacated, all managed centrally.
