Crestron GLS-ODT-C-CN
Occupancy Sensor
The GLS-ODT-C-CN is a ceiling-mounted dual-technology occupancy sensor in the Crestron GreenLight family, combining passive infrared (PIR) and ultrasonic detection to reliably sense presence in a room. Using both technologies together improves accuracy by requiring corroborating signals to confirm occupancy, reducing false triggers and missed detections in spaces with partitions or limited motion.
The sensor connects and draws power over Cresnet, reporting occupancy status to a Crestron control system so lights, HVAC, and other loads respond automatically to real usage. This supports energy-saving strategies and hands-free convenience, turning lighting on when a space is entered and off after it is vacated, all coordinated within the broader automation program.
