Crestron DM-NVX-351
AV-over-IP Network AV Encoder/Decoder
The DM-NVX-351 shares the endpoint architecture of the DM-NVX-350, working as either a 4K60 4:4:4 encoder or decoder with HDR across a standard IP network, and adds stereo downmixing for multichannel audio. Its I/O mirrors the 350: two HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, analog audio input and output, and dual 1GbE RJ45 ports alongside an SFP fiber cage for flexible network topologies.
The downmixing feature folds surround-sound content into a two-channel signal that can be distributed simultaneously with the original multichannel format, letting a single source serve both a full surround system and simpler stereo zones. Combined with AES67 audio networking and endpoint control via RS-232, IR, and CEC, the unit fits installations that must feed a mix of audio playback capabilities from one source across an AV-over-IP fabric.
