The DM-CBL-8G-P-SP500 is a 500-foot spool of Crestron DigitalMedia 8G cable, purpose-built for the backbone of DM 8G and 8G+ signal distribution. Constructed as a 350 MHz-certified twisted-pair cable with an overall foil shield (F/UTP), it exceeds CAT5e standards and rejects EMI and RFI to keep long high-bandwidth runs clean and reliable.
This cable is Type CMP plenum-rated for installation in environmental air-handling spaces, making it suitable for in-ceiling and in-wall pathways governed by building code. A single run transports uncompressed HD and Ultra HD video, high-bitrate multichannel audio, high-speed Ethernet, and power. Termination is completed with Crestron DM-8G-CONN or DM-8G-CONN-WG shielded RJ45-style connectors, sold separately.
