Control Processor
The Crestron CP4N is a 4-Series rack-mount control processor that pairs a multicore CPU with an isolated Control Subnet in a 1U chassis. Backed by 2 GB of SDRAM and 8 GB of flash, its 4-Series architecture delivers substantially faster program execution than prior 3-Series processors and can run up to ten simultaneous control programs.
Extensive onboard connectivity includes a Gigabit LAN port, a Gigabit Control Subnet, COM ports supporting RS-232/422/485, IR and serial outputs, Versiport digital/analog I/O, relays, Cresnet, and USB 2.0. Enterprise-grade features such as SNMP v3, BACnet, 802.1X, Active Directory authentication, and HomeKit support make it suited to both demanding commercial and high-end residential systems.
