Biamp Vocia VI-8
8-Channel Networked Audio Input Device
The Vocia VI-8 is an eight-channel live audio input device that places balanced analog sources onto the Vocia network for distribution across a paging, background-music, and voice-evacuation system. With eight independent inputs, it is well suited to venues that need to originate multiple live or program audio feeds from a single location.
Each input is digitized and routed over the CobraNet audio network, with configuration and supervision handled in Vocia software. The VI-8 lets integrators capture microphones, mixers, music sources, and other program material and send them to any defined zone, all while remaining part of a supervised, network-managed design. Its channel density and flexibility make it a strong fit for auditoriums, houses of worship, transport hubs, and large multi-zone facilities.
