The Vocia VFOM-1-7 is a factory-installed 7:1 failover module for the VA-8600 amplifier, dedicating one backup amplifier channel to protect a group of seven primary channels. When a fault is detected on any protected channel, the module automatically transfers that load to the reserved backup so critical announcements continue.
The 7:1 ratio maximizes the number of protected channels per backup, offering an efficient path to amplifier redundancy in high-density paging and voice-evacuation systems. Fitted inside the VA-8600 chassis and managed on the Vocia network, it keeps configuration and supervision consistent across the installation.
