Biamp Vocia VA-8600
Modular Multi-Channel Networked Amplifier
The Vocia VA-8600 is a modular, digital networked amplifier for large paging and voice-evacuation systems. Its 3RU chassis accepts up to eight AM-600 amplifier cards, each individually configurable from 100 to 600 watts and switchable between 70V, 100V, and low-impedance operation to match virtually any loudspeaker layout.
Audio and control travel over the network with dual Ethernet ports for redundancy, and comprehensive DSP provides volume control, filtering, compression and limiting, delay, and speaker equalization per channel. Non-volatile message storage plus channel-to-channel and device-to-device failover options support demanding life-safety requirements. Scalable and highly configurable, the VA-8600 is engineered for airports, stadiums, transit systems, and other large venues where flexible, supervised amplification is essential.
