Biamp Vocia TTS-2
Text-to-Speech Announcement Engine
The Vocia TTS-2 is a text-to-speech engine that converts incoming text strings into spoken announcements within a Vocia public-address and voice-evacuation system. It allows external systems, such as flight information displays, transit software, or building control platforms, to send text that is voiced automatically across the appropriate paging zones.
By generating natural-sounding speech on demand, the TTS-2 removes the need to pre-record every possible message and keeps announcements consistent and current. It integrates as a native device on the Vocia network and is configured through Vocia software, where announcement logic, zones, and message handling are defined. The engine is well suited to airports, rail and transport terminals, and other dynamic environments where automated, text-driven announcements must be delivered clearly and reliably.
