Biamp Vocia LSI-16e
Vocia Enhanced 16-Zone Life Safety Interface
The Vocia LSI-16e is an enhanced life safety interface that connects a fire alarm control panel to the Vocia networked voice evacuation and paging platform. It provides sixteen supervised inputs for alarm and trigger signals and builds on the LSI-16 with expanded capabilities to suit more demanding emergency communication designs.
Supervised, monitored connections allow line and input faults to be detected and reported, supporting the dependability that codes require of voice alarm systems. Alarm inputs are mapped to messages and zones in Vocia software, and input capacity can be extended with an interface module for large or complex facilities. As part of the decentralized Vocia architecture, the LSI-16e helps ensure emergency announcements reach the right zones automatically and reliably.
