Biamp Vocia GPIO-1
Vocia General Purpose Input/Output Device
The Vocia GPIO-1 is a general purpose input/output device that extends control and logic connectivity across the Vocia networked public address and paging platform. It provides configurable inputs and outputs that let external contacts, sensors and equipment trigger Vocia actions, and allow the system to drive indicators, relays or signals to other building systems.
Typical uses include initiating pages or messages from a contact closure, muting or ducking audio in response to an external event, or reporting a Vocia status to third-party controls. As a networked device it plugs directly into the decentralized Vocia architecture and is configured through Vocia software, giving integrators flexible logic tie-ins for automation, interlocks and coordinated facility responses without central wiring bottlenecks.
