Biamp Vocia AM-600
Networked Vocia Amplifier Module
The Vocia AM-600 is an amplifier output module for the Vocia networked public address, paging and voice evacuation platform. Installed in the VA-8600 amplifier mainframe, it delivers up to 600 watts of high-quality amplification and supports multi-tap constant-voltage speaker lines, making it well suited to distributed loudspeaker systems across large buildings and campuses.
As part of the Vocia architecture, the amplifier participates in a decentralized, IP-based design where audio, paging and control are distributed over the network rather than routed through a single central rack. This approach improves scalability and resilience, and supports backup amplification strategies so critical paging and life-safety messaging remains dependable. Configuration is handled through Vocia software for streamlined commissioning and system-wide management.
