The Biamp Desono EX-S8 is a rugged two-way surface-mount loudspeaker built around an 8-inch coaxial driver paired with a high-frequency compression driver. It delivers full-bandwidth, intelligible sound for demanding installations, and its weather-resistant construction suits both indoor and outdoor applications such as covered patios, atriums, retail exteriors, and stadium concourses.
Flexible operation lets integrators wire the EX-S8 as a low-impedance 8-ohm speaker or switch to 70V/100V distributed-line mode for multi-speaker paging and music systems. The enclosure ships with an indexing U-bracket for precise aiming and a protective cover, so the loudspeaker can be positioned exactly where coverage is needed while standing up to the elements.
